The enviromental scholarship is so important that we get tools to these young people so they can carry on where we left off.
— Ernie Crossland

In 2006 the Ernie and Jean Crossland Environmental Scholarship Fund was created to raise funds for students from the Lake Simcoe region watershed pursuing an environmental education. In January of 2014 a group of Ernie and Jean’s grandchildren formed the Crossland Environmental Foundation to support any education leading to the conservation and restoration of the environment. As a Foundation we seek to ensure all activities are aligned with the Scholarship Fund goals, approve or reject changes to the Scholarship Fund, and provide advice and guidance on business issues facing the Scholarship Fund.
